This license is required to participate. The application is attached. Kitchen Inspection Certificate Cooking on the truck is not permitted under any circumstance. Food Truck Social 2012 will be held on public property, not private so all food must be prepared and packaged ahead of time at a local kitchen, regardless of your experience at other events. Food Truck Vendor will need to submit a kitchen inspection certificate with a letter from the owner stating that the food truck vendor is allowed to prepare food there. However, for an additional fee preparing and cooking food under an adjacent tent is permitted. Sanitation Certificate A food truck vendor representative must attend a Summer Festival Sanitation Training class within one year of the festival and hold a Sanitation Certificate for Temporary Food Ser vice. Call 312-746-8030 for a schedule of Sanitation Training classes. The person listed on the Sanitation Certificate must be present at Food Truck Social 2012 at all times.
